Kazuo Matsui(MLB Huston Astros)

In 1993, after graduating from Osaka PL High School, Kazuo Matsui was the 3rd pick in the draft signing with Seibu Lions. In 1997, Matsui led the league in stealing and was MVP in Pacific League in 1998.
In 2002, he accomplished a batting average of.300, 30 homeruns and 30 steals. In 2003, He joined NY Mets and debuted with a homerun at his first at bat in the opening game along with two more hits. He joined the Colorado Rockies from June 2006.
Kei Igawa(MLB New York Yankees)

Born: 7/13/1979 in Oharai, Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan
Selected by the Hanshin Tigers in 2nd round of the 1998 draft in Japan.
2001: Went 9-13 and ranked 3rd in the Central League in ERA (2.67) for his first full season in the Central League.
2002: Went 14-9 with a 2.49 ERA in 31 starts. Led the League in innings (209 1/3), complete games (8) and strikeouts (206).
2003: Won Central League Most Valuable Player Award and Sawamura Award (The best pitcher of the year). Led the league in wins (20), win percentage (.800) and ERA (2.80). He also won the League’s Best Nine Award (All-Stars of the year) and helped the Tigers to the Central League pennant, the first time since 1985.
2004: Went 14-11 with a 3.73 ERA in 29 starts. Led the League in innings (200 1/3) and strikeouts (228, career high).
2006: Went 14-9 with a 2.97 ERA in 29 starts. Led the League in strikeouts (194).
Takashi Harada (Triathlete)

Born in Fukuoka Prefecture in 1976. Run National High School Long-distance relay race as a member of Omura High school of Fukuoka.
Later he joined Keio University aiming to make it to Hakone Long-distance Relay Race. However, he was diagnosed with Hepatitis C and was told not to engage extreme sport activities. He had gone through many treatments, tests and rehabilitation over the next three years. Finally, he fully recovered in July 2002.
He became fascinated by triathlon during his treatment, and after his recovery, determined to be a triathlete. In 2006, he completed extensive training in Australia, and is aiming at the Beijing Olympic.
Kaori Aoyama (Professional Golfer)

Born in Kumamoto Prefecture, April 1985. 21 years old. Height 154 cm. Started playing golf at age of 4, and continued extensive training at Sakata Club owned by Mr. Nobuhiro Sakata. At 6th grade, she played at Saisyunkan Ladies as the youngest player in the history. Caught nationwide attention as "Super Grade Schooler".
After graduating Tokai Ni Highschool, she currently attends Kyusyu Tokai University (in her senior year she is also a professional golfer.
